From an early age painting was always going to be my chosen path, as a self taught artist I threw myself into experimenting with different painting methods and mediums, from painting portrats in chalk to abstract and surreal landscapes in oil, although, after a time I found acrylic paint suited me best and my style developed from there.

Introducing characters and humour to my work a few years ago sent me in a new direction, "paintings that make you smile" was a comment often given to me and I knew that this path was the right one for me. 

I like to fill my paintings with as much humour as I can and you'll find something hidden away in a corner, which stems from the art I enjoy, paintings that keep your interest. I feel I have achieved that in my work and hope you agree. 

I'm very happy to do commissions, so, if you have your own character you would like to see in one of my paintings please get in touch, just as long as you don't live in a zoo!!! all of my work is published by Oceanpublishing .
